Well what can i say i could be here for a life time with the memories i have this wee woman never had a bad word to say about anyone and always seen the good in the bad, she loved her family dearly and not a day went by were she always talked about each and everyone of her family. She enjoyed her life seeing her family day in day out.
She was more like a friend than a granny, the times we shared together going to the beach when i was young everyday of the summer we went to the beach then as i grew up i went to her house after school for dinner but dinner turned in to supper and supper turned into breakfast but i never complained it was always fun staying and having a giggle.
As i grew up more many boxing days were spent sharing a bottle of wine or 2 and going and staying up in her house every boxing night right up untill she died i may have been 19 but i was never too old to stay with my granny.
She made us all proud , i loved going to see her mind you she was more interesed in seeing dave (my fiance) as she had a soft spot for him always spoke very highly of him which makes me know i am with the right person.
She spoke highly of all her grandchildrens partners, David Sharon Amy Claire Carol , as i said she got along with everyone she was always full of life at 80 she was still doing her normal day to day things going shopping cleaning the house going out for lunch's meals with members of the family. She was so special to each and every one of us.
We will celebrate her life each day in our hearts & remember our time together with happiness x0x

Nearly your birthday
Hard to think this time last year you would have been in scotland with auntie pat then coming home for your birthday gosh you thought you were going for a quiet meal..You turned up and the whole family was there the look on your face you were so proud that night & we were so proud of you.You'r 80th bday and you stood us young ones up looking better than us hehe..Gran as time goes on i do find it easier but there are days quiet alot of days i wish i could just see you and give you a hug and i keep asking why? But my answer has to be god needed that specail 1 and he took you,Gran i hope i made you proud and hope i still do i love you so much.Sometimes i feel you are with me i feel sad then something happens and i think of ur smiling face like right now i can see you smiling..Gran i wish i had one minute to just tell you how much i love you i know you knew but you werent just my granny you were my friend i miss you wee woman.I hope u enjoy your first birthday back with granda next week 24th august have a wee whiskey on us all x0x
